Osteopath of Wellness – Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: November 2025
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“the client”, “you”, “your”) and Osteopath of Wellness (“we”, “our”, “us”) when you visit our website, make an enquiry, book an appointment or receive treatment. By using our website or scheduling a session with us, you agree to these terms. They are designed to protect both you and our clinic, and to ensure that all services are delivered clearly, safely and professionally.
We provide osteopathy, injury rehabilitation, structural and functional assessments, lifestyle guidance, and a range of therapeutic treatments aimed at improving health, mobility, recovery and wellbeing. These Terms & Conditions apply to all services unless stated otherwise.
1. Use of the Website
Our website (www.osteopathofwellness.com) provides general information about our services. Everything displayed is intended to help you understand what we offer, but it does not replace professional medical advice or clinical assessment. Treatment suitability must always be determined through a consultation.
We may update content, treatment descriptions, availability or pricing at any time without prior notice. By using the website, you agree not to misuse its content, interfere with its functionality, or attempt to access any unauthorised areas or systems.
2. Booking Appointments
Appointments can be made through our online booking system, by contacting us directly or through any approved channels used by Osteopath of Wellness. All bookings depend on availability, and some may require a deposit to secure the appointment.
Deposits may be non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled at short notice, missed without communication, or rescheduled repeatedly. The purpose of a deposit is to reserve your treatment slot and ensure fair booking management for all clients.
We reserve the right to decline appointments when necessary — including when a treatment is not appropriate, unsafe or beyond our clinical scope.
3. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Missed Appointments
We understand that plans may change and ask clients to provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or move an appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling with insufficient notice may result in the loss of your deposit or a cancellation fee.
Repeated cancellations or missed appointments without notice may affect your ability to book future sessions.

If we need to change your appointment due to practitioner availability, emergencies or circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you promptly and offer the next available time.

4. Treatment Suitability and Client Responsibilities
Before providing any treatment, we may need to ask about your medical history, injuries, medications, past treatments, allergies or anything that could influence safe care. You agree to provide accurate, honest and complete information, as this directly affects treatment suitability.

We may decline treatment or modify your treatment plan if:
We believe the treatment could be unsafe for you.
Insufficient information is provided for an informed clinical decision.
You show signs of a condition requiring referral elsewhere.
You fail to follow pre-session or after-care instructions.

You understand that osteopathic treatment outcomes vary depending on many individual factors. While we always work to achieve the best possible results, no specific outcome is guaranteed.

5. Payments and Pricing
Prices for treatments are clearly communicated before booking or at the time of enquiry. We may adjust pricing, promotions or packages at any time, except where a price has already been confirmed for your booked appointment.

Payments must be made at the time of treatment, or in accordance with any agreed arrangement. Failure to complete payment may result in delays or the cancellation of future bookings.

Refunds for completed treatments are not offered unless a genuine professional failure has occurred.

6. Liability
All treatments are carried out by qualified practitioners who take appropriate care to ensure safety and effectiveness. However, as with any physical treatment, there is always a degree of risk, and certain outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Osteopath of Wellness is not liable for any injury, discomfort or adverse reaction arising from:
Undisclosed medical conditions, injuries or medications.
Failure to follow after-care instructions.
Activities or lifestyle choices outside the clinic.
Personal property lost or damaged while on the premises.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where prohibited by UK law.

7. Refunds
Refunds are provided only in situations where:
-
A treatment was not delivered as agreed.
-
A clear professional error occurred.
-
A legally mandated refund applies.
-
Deposits or cancellation fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated or agreed.

8. Under-18s
We do not provide treatment to individuals under 18 years old. Proof of age may be requested.

9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how it is used and how it is protected. We comply fully with UK-GDPR and take data protection seriously.

Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve performance and user experience. Details about tracking technologies, preferences and cookie management can be found in our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update or revise these Terms & Conditions as our services, website or legal obligations evolve. Any changes will be posted here with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of these changes.
